Hey there, business friends! Can you believe it? We're turning three, and oh boy, what a ride it's been! As I sit down to reflect on the past year, I can't help but feel a whirlwind of emotions—gratitude, pride, and perhaps a hint of nostalgia. So, grab a cup of your favorite brew and join me as I take a stroll down memory lane and share some of the invaluable lessons I've learned along the way. We’ve released a Three Year Special podcast episode which you can watch and listen to here, or you can enjoy this quick little read on some of my business insights.
Taking the Leap of Faith
One of the biggest leaps I took in my first year of business was saying goodbye to the safety net of my hospitality job and diving headfirst into the world of full-time entrepreneurship. Let me tell you, it was a rollercoaster of emotions. Saying goodbye to old goals and identities was daunting, to say the least. It meant stepping into uncharted territory and rediscovering myself in the process. But you know what? It was worth every moment of uncertainty because it led me to where I am today—doing what I love, living life on my own terms and most importantly; being of service to other people.
Finding Purpose in the Journey
In my second year of business, amidst the hustle and bustle, I embarked on a journey of self-discovery. Through travels and moments of introspection, I unearthed the true purpose of Blanc Studio. It wasn't just about chasing self-fulfillment and proving everyone who didn’t believe in me wrong anymore; it was about serving others and empowering fellow business owners to find their voice and share their unique stories with the world. Talk about a massive paradigm shift! Realising that my passion aligned with making a positive impact on others fueled my drive like never before, which led to the evolution of Jane Collective to Blanc Studio.
Systemising and Automating for Growth
Now, let's talk about a real game-changer—systemising and automating the business. I'll be honest; it wasn't a walk in the park. There were challenges, mistakes, attracting the wrong people, and moments of self-doubt along the way. But you know what they say—nothing worth having comes easy. By delegating, streamlining processes, and leveraging automation tools, I've not only helped other businesses thrive but also unlocked the freedom to live out my dream life. Delegating tasks, thriving as a leader, and watching the business flourish—it's been nothing short of a dream come true.
Looking Ahead
As we toast to three years of Blanc Studio, I can't help but feel a sense of excitement for what the future holds. With each lesson learned, I'm more equipped to tackle the challenges and seize the opportunities that lie ahead. So here's to embracing the journey, embracing growth, and continuing to make a difference—one story at a time.
Thank you for being a part of this incredible journey. We truly wouldn’t be here without your encouragement and support. Every like, reaction, and comment on social media means more than you’ll ever know. If we have or haven’t worked together yet, here's to many more years of creativity, collaboration, and making magic happen together!
With gratitude,
Jane | Founder, Blanc Studio
